Wow, I’m really digging markdown. I’ve been using TextMate for quite some time now, and I just discovered even more beauty in the bundles. There’s one called Markdown (Wikipedia / Daring Fireball). This thing is beautiful. I can whip out some HTML in TextMate as easily and quickly as I can write regular text, but this thing simplifies the process so much.
Instead of having to type all my HTML by hand, I simply use Markdown, and my HTML is formatted nicely and semantically.
I highly recommend you check out Markdown. There’s also Textile, which does essentially the same thing. I didn’t chose Markdown over Textile for any reason; I just found its plugin for WordPress first.
