So I’ve been referred to this application called Adium which is a chat program. It will handle AIM accounts, Google Chat, Jabber, and some others. I’ve been using it for about a week instead of iChat, and so far I’m pretty happy. It’s free software, so it’s worth a shot! You may just like it.

Free Widescreen Wallpaper!
I use a 24″ iMac. It’s at a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I love having my wallpaper rotate every five minutes. I’ve always noticed TextMate behaves a bit sluggishly when a project contains a good amount of remote file references. I’d much prefer to use TextMate, but end up resorting to the vim editor. I got nothing against vim, by any means, but when modifying many files for one project, it can become cumbersome.

In TextMate, you can create new files by pressing Shift Apple N. You’re supposed to be able to create a new folder by pressing Control Apple G, but it straight up doesn’t work. The same happens to my friend running essentially the same system.
