A friend just turned me onto this Rails-based blog app. I’m going to check it out. I’m very interested in the idea of using a Rails-based blog app, since so many are limited in certain ways.
Check it out: Typo.
I do have to admit, though, that using TextMate and WordPress over XML/RPC is pretty easy, so I’m not sure that Typo could really simplify my blogging life much more… We’ll see, though.

So we’ve got this thing installed, and first thing we noticed is that the themes don’t seem to be working correctly.
We can see the stylesheets in the browser, but some of the images just don’t load. It came with a few prepackaged themes, but I’m not so sure that we should have any trouble when selecting a different theme.
So far, I’d rather not spend my time trying to debug a freshly installed app… We’ll keep playing with it, but I may give up sooner than later.
