We just came across this new stuff: BuddyPress. Sounds like BuddyPress is giving WordPress and Movable Type a much-needed head start.
With social networking becoming so popular, this is sure to bring WordPress blogs to the next level. I’m excited to see how well this works out!

I’m excited for the full release of this. It will probably be some time before it’s stable enough to use, and probably something else will come along by then that one-ups this one… but this is definitely a good thing for long-running blogs that converting them to a more powerful drupal is too large a task.
