My good friend Agnes has a blog within her employer’s company website. She’s got the power to post new blog entries to her website whenever she wants, and of course the company encourages this. More content = more traffic = more exposure. All good things!

When designing websites, print brochures, or other visual stuff like that, it’s very convenient to use placeholder text. The de facto standard is the Lorem Ipsum text. The reason lorem ipsum is commonly used is becuase it’s very similar to english, in word density, word length, words per sentence, and so on.

Some wanna be homemaker rager just learned that there’s a difference between home fries and hash browns. Someone else didn’t know there was a difference. In general home fries are chunks or cubes of potato, while hash browns are usually shredded potato. They’re cooked pretty much the same way, depending on who makes them.
