Was just browsing over foxy cart again, and I came across a bit of info on integration with ModX. Now, this sounds pretty promising.
If this actually works, then we may have finally found a slick ecommerce system that gives the developer actual control… imagine that craziness. I’m very much looking forward to the opportunity to try this out, as I’ve had enough of carts with endless template files, markup built into the algorithms… the list goes very, very on.

I’ve been using MODx + Foxy Cart exclusively for my CMS and Ecommerce for the last year and 1/2. It gives me total control over the Ecommerce. Since MODx is amazing and so is Foxy Cart, it makes 100% customization a snap.
