I heard lots of people complaining about recent Gmail issues over IMAP. I mostly use my gmail account as an archive, so all my emails end up in there. It works really well, for me at least.
But there’s an issue today, where I can’t seem to move my messages into the All Mail (archive) folder. It’s annoying and is keeping my inbox too crowded.
But do I pay for Gmail? No! It’s free. And my storage space is ever increasing.
So, if you’re having trouble, just be patient. Google will fix it up. Don’t forget, the service is FREE!

Amen. People need to understand that the internet as a whole cannot ALWAYS be online. Equipment can break, and people can make mistakes. Networks can go down, routers can go bad.
No company can possibly keep everything running ALL the time, it’s impossible.
Gmail is free.
Rackspace however, is not. The self-proclaimed ‘best’ hosting company who have probably spent the most dollars on their facilities won’t always be running as well. Hell, remember last year when a car smashed into a phone pole down the road, and we lost our server for a few days? Remember all those kind clients who chewed us out?
A car wreck in Texas, and we take the heat.
Remind me again why we will never, ever host websites again?
