Finally, a Google Adsense iPhone application: iEarn

I’ve been keeping my eye out for this one for a while. Since Google’s mobile version of their site is loaded when I view google on the iPhone, it’s not easy to check Google Adsense earnings on the iPhone.

Reset Mac OS X network configuration to factory default; Airport interface disappeared

We used Apple’s Migration Assistant Application to migrate my brother’s files and user account and stuff over to a new machine. The new machine has airport. After the migration (and a few changes to our simple local home network), the Airport interface in System Preferences simply wasn’t there. Instead all we had was Ethernet 2. [...]

Remove CalDav subscribed calendar from iCal, calendar won’t delete

I used to use Leopard Server for my office. We all had accounts on there, and we used iCal and CalDav so we could all subscribe to a few common calendars. It never worked perfectly. But now we don’t use Leopard Server anymore. It just didn’t really help us out very much.

Safari Javascript Bookmark to Resize Browser Window

When coding for the front end of a website, I frequently resize my browser window to simulate different screen resolutions. The most common size right now is 1024 X 768 pixels, width by height. Pandora Dashboard widget for Mac

I just found this nice dashboard widget for Pandora. Works pretty well, and it’s really nice because everytime I’m listening to browser-based music, I end up closing the window. Sure I’m pretty good about keeping windows open, but come on, it’s a browser. The windows will end up getting closed. So this solves that. Seems [...]

Finally, A Tablet PC, but it’s a Mac!

I’ve been wanting one of these for years, and I’d always assumed Mac wouldn’t make one. Plus, I’ve checked out the Windows tablet PCs, and yes, the tablets are nice, but they still run Windows. I prefer not to run Windows. It gets in my way. Tom introduced me to Axiotron’s Modbook. I want one. [...]

    Quickbooks Mac Network Data File

It doesn’t work well. Don’t do it. I tried it. Pretty simple theoretically. datafile.qb2007 located on a network drive, auto backups on local machine(s). QB crashes, user gets scared, just don’t do it.

Adium to replace iChat, at least on my machine

So I’ve been referred to this application called Adium which is a chat program. It will handle AIM accounts, Google Chat, Jabber, and some others. I’ve been using it for about a week instead of iChat, and so far I’m pretty happy. It’s free software, so it’s worth a shot! You may just like it.
