I migrated a Menalto Gallery 2 site, and I got this error right away. Error (ERROR_PLATFORM_FAILURE) It’s a permissions issue. The fix: steve$ chmod -R 777 g2data Give your g2data folder (could be another name; this is the folder that holds your gallery 2 data) write permissions, and the error should disappear.

sIFR is a tool that allows novelty and custom fonts to be used on web pages. It uses javascript and flash to take text (commonly headings), hide it, and replace it with a flash-based alternative. It’s pretty clever and works pretty damn well.

Think of millions of tiny robots, each with their own computer processors, programs, and stuff like that, plus add in some LEDs. Now put a few million together.
