Google released a nice little script that warns users that IE6 is way out of date. Just include a chunk of javascript, and Google takes care of the rest. If we all adopted this route, then the Google’s warning screen would become standard, more trusted, and would probably do much better than all of us [...]

2 CommentsFacebook makes you stupid
A study about Ohio students who use facebook apparently average a lower GPA. Of course, the study was only performed at one Ohio school and performed on only 219 students.

1 CommentExtreme sports! Ironing?
Check out the hottest new extreme sport: Extreme Ironing! Contestants take an ironing board to remote locations and iron clothing! This could be on the trail, skydiving, underwater, wherever! Extreme ironing takes extreme sports to the next level, by combining the danger and thrills of outdoor activities with the “satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt.”

It’s not going to be an expert’s resource, nor will it be a directory of all things beer. Rather, it’ll focus more on my experience with home brewing, enjoying beer, and visiting as many [...]

4 CommentsLocomotivity, a great concept and best wishes
A building in Downtown Asheville is being converted into a workspace for those who generally work at home or in coffee shops. The company, Locomotivity, opens its doors today, and it offers several member tiers: partner, full-time, part-time, and daily. One of the most beneficial points of this company, that I see, is that it [...]
