All my life, and probably yours, the number 7 has been the lucky one. And the number 13 is always the unlucky one. Today I wonder why? Is it because 13 is a prime number? No, can’t be that. 7 is also a prime number.

What the hell is web site hosting, anyway?
I answer this question quite often, also, so hopefully this article will help to clarify what website hosting is. Website hosting (aka hosting) is much different than a domain name, though they’re very closely related.

A domain name is simply a name ending with a TLD. TLD stands for Top Level Domain. Some examples: stevejamesson.com irs.gov google.com abtech.edu cakephp.org The TLD is the .com, .org, .net, etc. portion of the domain name.
